In 1969 a person named Dennies Ritchie started working on a project which is initially developed for UNIX operating system.
Dennies had in his mind to make UNIX operating system more efficient.
The UNIX was the most popular operating system those days which was designed and configured in assembly language.
He got success in his project and completed in 1971. In 1972 he launched it in market and was named C programming language (the name C was derived from the language B as language C used a lot of feature of programming language B). Till then C programming language was adopted for huge number of projects and was recognized as one of the best programming language and till date c is one of the best programming language for developing operating system, software and the other applications.
